Should I really present this emulator ?
You probably use it to play but it's a great help if you want to hack an arcade game too.
Of course, it's right if this game is emulated, else ... go back to IDA only (like some MAMEDevers do)
► Use it
To hack a game, you need to be able to
- Read a driver
- Build a dev version of MAME
- Use the buildin tools
- Use the debugger
- Cheat to test
Note than I always have the ROM loaded in IDA and on MAME at the same times.
